Pascal Island!

You know that I said I’ll be posting more trivia. So… here it is.

I looked at some sites and I found some strange things like the Pascal islands, those islands can be found at the Pacific Ocean just west of the American continent. Those islands are unhabited by any kind of people.

Then you will say: cool, but where are the strage things of those islands. Then I'll say do you know about the stones totems? Probably you don't!

So here is the history, a lot of pre historical navigators used to make that rote, but the legend says that one of that navigators  broke his boat at that island, but in this island there wasn't any kind of wood or anything that could be used to repair the boat, so these navigators started to create a tribe or something like that, some time  passed and the children of this tribe started to be born.

Year by year that culture started to grow and the old people started to die, so the hopes to come back to his own place was forgotten. The young people that saw their parents dying started to think how they could make their family immortal, so they created the stone totems, not one but a lot of them , everywhere!

But suddenly those people started to disappear and a lot of totems couldn't be finished, so some scientist are trying to explain why they disappeared? One of the hypotheses is that a strong disease caught that tribe and killed them all; another hypothesis is that they discovered one way to get out of there and abandoned the tribe.

Today that island is a good point of tourism, with huge totems and the beauty of an inhabited island.
